In today’s rapidly changing and increasingly demanding world, leaders need to be responsive to the struggles of their team, colleagues, and their own role within their organization. Tackling problems head-on and having difficult conversations is no easy task, and requires sustained self-awareness as well as the capacity to engage authentically. Through our one-of-a-kind course, you will learn new skills and get hands-on learning to address work challenges that you can apply directly to your leadership role.

This experiential learning course is for leaders who are curious, courageous, and committed to challenging themselves and others by learning from - and working through - uncomfortable insights they gain. These include insights and learning that will ultimately increase your understanding of yourself as a leader and how you can better support your organization. This course provides an opportunity to network and think together with colleagues about the complex and urgent challenges that you face. Plus, your classmates will become a new, built-in network of like-minded leaders to support you moving forward.

Learn how to break down team silos, cut out bad decision making, and have the hard conversations that will make you a better leader, improve team building, and enhance organizational effectiveness.

Who should take this course:

  • Anyone in a leadership role in large or small public sector organizations or institutions.
  • Leaders who are experiencing a transition into a role, within their role or their organization, may find this course particularly helpful.

What you’ll learn:

In this experiential course, you will learn how to develop:

  • Deep self awareness of the role as a leader that is (un)consciously taken up, how leadership is mobilized in and by groups, organizational contexts, and questions of difference.
  • Knowledge about the (un)conscious challenges faced by leaders, groups and organizations.
  • Leadership skills through taking up an “analytic stance” with curious regard to work with dilemmas within a whole organizational context.
