Project Summary

Through my involvement with London Anti-Human Trafficking, I gained deeper knowledge about human trafficking, conducted research, and prepared a presentation about the Labour Trafficking of Migrant Workers. A significant goal of my presentation was to raise awareness and educate other professionals about the issue of labour trafficking. The presentation documents the systemic and individual issues faced by migrant agricultural workers and contains recommendations to better support them. I facilitated the presentation within LAHT, who will also share it with service providers and people targeted by human traffickers.

Professional Value & Impact

This project greatly enhanced my skills and knowledge on a critical social issue. Working on the research project and sharing the knowledge learned with other professionals that work in human trafficking was transformative and invaluable to my professional practice and personal development.
