About Dave
Dave Dalrymple is a seasoned advisor at The Chang School, passionate about guiding learners on their journey to career and academic success. With 12 years of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge and a deeply empathetic approach to his work. Having forged a unique career journey that spans film, music, sales, retail, and food service industries, and advancing his education with a Master of Arts in Communication and Culture from Toronto Metropolitan University, Dave knows firsthand that modern career and academic trajectories are rarely linear. He is dedicated to empowering learners to make informed decisions about their professional and educational goals so that they can confidently continue on their career and academic pathways.

Abi Vaceekaran brings a unique blend of expertise in campus recruitment and a deep commitment to learner success to her role as an Academic and Career Advisor. With a strong foundation in talent acquisition, Abi draws upon this experience to empower learners through every stage of their academic and career journeys, from course selection to skill-building and career preparation. Her professional background, combined with her understanding of employer expectations and industry trends, enables Abi to provide tailored guidance aligned with today’s competitive job market. Through personalized advising, interactive workshops, and career counselling, Abi’s holistic approach to student support ensures that each learner is well-prepared to achieve their academic ambitions and excel in their career.

About Dena
Dena Marcos brings both human resources and career development experience within private and community settings to The Chang School. She has a Bachelor of Human Resources Management and is a Certified Human Resources Professional. As an HR professional, she has recruited many individuals for various roles in IT, supply chain, and administration. As a career development practitioner, she has offered one-on-one advising, facilitated workshops, and produced various events. Throughout her career, Dena has supported a variety of individuals including internationally trained professionals, mature students, and individuals in career transition. She is extremely passionate about helping people navigate their careers and empowering them to maximize their potential.
