Celebrating the Inaugural Graduates of AI Powered Futures

The Chang School and the Centre for Innovation in Learning and Academic Renewal (CILAR) proudly celebrated the graduation of the inaugural AI Powered Futures program at TMU on June 16, 2026 — marking an exciting milestone for three cohorts of learners building practical, future-ready AI capabilities.

AI Powered Futures was created to help participants move beyond understanding artificial intelligence conceptually and toward applying it confidently in real-world workplace and career contexts. Over the course of the program, learners developed hands-on experience in areas including prompt writing, responsible AI use, resume and career development, workplace applications of AI, and practical tools designed to support professional growth in an evolving economy.

The graduation celebration recognized not only learner achievement, but also the potential of collaborative approaches to education that make emerging skills more accessible and actionable. Bringing together academic expertise, applied learning, and community impact, the program reflects a shared commitment between The Chang School and CILAR to helping individuals adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world of work.

Congratulations to the inaugural graduates of AI Powered Futures and to everyone who contributed to making this milestone possible!
