Vanessa Craft, Tiktok’s Global Head of Partnerships - Content, will speak about her experience with shifting gears from media to tech at our next The Pivot Point Speaker Series event, where she’ll share advice for continuous learners looking to make a career change.

Vanessa spent over a decade as a magazine editor, winning multiple industry awards and becoming the Editor-in-Chief of Elle Canada in 2016 – the first Black woman to hold that title across all global editions of Elle. In 2020, she left the media industry to join TikTok Canada. Today, Vanessa leads a team that handles global content partnerships and business development for the social media platform, which boasts over 1 billion monthly active users around the world.
