Merit-Based Awards for Community Engagement Programs

Merit-based awards are awarded based on demonstrated academic excellence, often in combination with other attributes such as contribution to a specific community. Most awards are presented at the annual Chang School Leaders in Learning awards ceremony held in the fall.

The following merit-based awards are specific to students who are participating in Programs for 50+ and Community Engagement and Spanning the Gaps – Access to Post-Secondary Education. See the list of merit-based awards available to the general continuing education student population.
