Social Prescribing
There is no one-size-fits-all solution to our needs as we get older, and prescriptions can lead to more than what is found in a plastic bottle. Social prescribing is a new way of approaching well-being that focuses on an individual patient’s needs. It offers non-clinical alternatives to support our social, physical, and mental health. This online moderated panel explores how social clubs, arts programming, and community can be just what the doctor ordered.

Is Age Just a Number? Breaking Stereotypes of Aging
Aging is often framed as decline, invisibility, or “slowing down” – which couldn’t be further from the truth! This online moderated panel brings together research, culture, and lived experience to challenge age-based stereotypes, from dementia stigma to everyday bias. The conversation also explores aging alongside creativity, asking what we can do to shift the narrative. This event explores new ways of seeing later life as an ongoing space of expression, identity, and one that is full of possibility.

A talk-back with the actors and director will follow the performance.
