Build your accounting skills with an Intermediate Accounting I Certificate
Ready to take the next step into intermediate accounting? We’re here for you. The Chang School’s four-part Certificate in Accounting Series is the perfect way to set yourself up for success as a CPA in the accounting field.
The Certificate in Intermediate Accounting I is the second in a four-part certificate series:
- Level 1: Certificate in Foundations for Accounting
- Level 2: Certificate in Intermediate Accounting I
- Level 3: Certificate in Intermediate Accounting II
- Level 4: Certificate in Advanced Accounting
Our Accounting Certificate Series offers in-depth skills training and hands-on experience to help you master those CPA enabling competencies and give you the best possible start in your accounting certification and CPA career. (Not sure if you want to go the CPA route quite yet? This certificate will set you up for success in any career that requires in-depth accounting knowledge.)
Just like with our Certificate in Foundations for Accounting, you can do all your accounting courses online – with in-person exams – so you can complete all the accounting certificates at your own pace and on your own schedule.
The Level 2: Certificate in Intermediate Accounting I will build on the accounting courses that you’ve taken previously. This accounting certificate will give you expertise in intermediate accounting areas like advanced business law and business information systems.
Looking to take your accounting skills to the C-suite? You’ll also master managerial finance and management accounting.
You’ll receive plenty of support along the way in this accounting program as well. You can start building your professional network before you even enter the accounting field, thanks to all the connections you’ll make with advisors, staff, and instructors, along with your fellow future CPAs.
The accounting courses in the Certificate in Intermediate Accounting I qualify as preparatory courses for the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). Once you complete all four accounting certificates, you can apply for the CPA PEP. And, after you complete the CPA PEP prerequisites, you’ll be eligible to write the three-day Common Final Examination (CFE) exam.
You’re off to a great start on your CPA journey – and we’re excited to help you with that next step.
