Learn to become a better photographer with a Photography Studies certificate

Photographers are in-demand in so many industries. Sales and advertising. Government. Education. Media. The arts. With a Certificate in Photography Studies from The Chang School, you’ll be ready to take advantage of these opportunities and share your craft with the world.

Our photography certificate gives you experience in different genres of photography, helps you experiment with practical and creative approaches, and teaches you the key elements in contemporary photography. These photography and videography courses will teach you how to use a digital camera, image-making software and workflows, and digital printing.

Interested in specializing in a certain kind of photography? This photography program will give you the technical foundation to start your own business in photography for commercial products, contemporary photographic art, fashion, human figure, photojournalism, portraits, and weddings.

If you’re already working in the creative photography industry, you can enhance your technical proficiency so you can emerge with the skills to really thrive as a fine art or commercial photographer.

The experienced instructors in our Photography Studies certificate are all working photographers. They can help you learn how to build your personal networks and professional portfolio.

You can complete much of this photography program online, and schedule coursework around any other responsibilities you may have.

The world always needs more striking imagery: are you ready to make some?

The program filled in some technical gaps and gave me the confidence and skill to start my own business. The instructors were top-notch, each class more interesting than the last, and I came away with a strong start in the industry. I still consider my instructors mentors today and wouldn't trade that connection and experience for anything.
