CSMU 308 - Sight Reading III

Course Description

For people with moderate sight reading skills. To level 2 we add asymmetrical meters, chromatic harmony, transposing melodies, and more complex ear training. Each class features fun musical and rhythmic drills and singing in solfège. More advanced ear training exercises will help you to hear the music on the page in your head. By the end of term, participants should have increased confidence singing or playing intermediate level melodies, accurately reproducing the notes and rhythms.
