Course Description

A course for anyone wanting to act outside of school. Through a mix of short lectures and lots of hands-on, practical, performance work, participants will learn about the entertainment industry (film, voice, and theatre), and begin to think about how they can best position themselves for success within it. Participants can expect to come away with a basic understanding of actor representation, unions, and industry standards for auditions, while also having worked and performed several mock auditions for their peers. This course is going to prioritize confidence building.
