Course Description
Social Psychology is a diverse field that generally deals with people in social situations. Core topics include social behaviour such as aggression, obedience, conformity, intimate relationships, and how groups function. They also include attitudes, social cognition, social perception, prejudice and feelings of guilt, all of which are assumed to affect social behaviour. Basic methodological issues will be discussed as they pertain to the above topics. This course is intended for students not majoring in Psychology.Notes
Online Sections, On-campus exam requirement: Your final exam will be written in person at the Toronto Metropolitan University campus. If you live more than 100 km from the TMU campus, you may arrange to write your exam off-campus using an approved off-campus invigilation service.
