Course Description

This course helps students to become aware of the business aspects of film and television production, including both documentary and scripted productions. It surveys the public and private systems which undergird the Canadian and international film industries in past, present and future, with specific attention paid to how productions are developed, packaged, financed, distributed, and exhibited to audiences.
