Course Description

Comprehensively displaying information is one of the biggest challenges faced by data analysts. Virtual reality addresses this challenge by offering a method of displaying data visualizations in an immersive, interactive environment, promoting collaboration, situational awareness, and shared context. This course covers the development of virtual reality data visualizations to generate actionable and predictive conclusions from complex and fast-changing datasets. Skills taught include Hadoop, Time Regression Graphs, Open Source VR platforms, and Visualization Big Data Tools.
