CYPG 611 - Strategic Advising Through Needs Assessment

Course Description

Needs assessment is a critical strategic consulting capability in modern L&D functions. Through deep insight generation, learners will elevate their ability to consult with clients to assess business needs and individual performance issues, conduct performance gap analysis, and define desired performance outcomes. Participants will apply data collection strategies, sharpen stakeholder engagement skills, and develop confidence in leading difficult conversations with business leaders. They will also learn to analyse findings of their needs assessment, recognize patterns, and partner with business leaders to validate conclusions and select the most appropriate solutions to close the identified performance gaps. Learners will gain the tools, language, and strategic mindset required to lead an effective needs assessment as strategic learning advisors.
