Course Description

This workshop, three three hour classes over three weeks, is designed to introduce actors to holistic rehearsal, a technique that asks the actor to learn the play rather than their part. There are very specific ways of doing this that are exciting, demanding, and bound to be fresh to a lot of Canadian actors. Some details have to be saved for the actual workshop, but analysis, memory, and sense work will all be explored and there will be an in-class, casual performance at the end.
