Course Description

This three-week class is designed to help playwrights get their Fresh Pick scripts ready for submission. Students will do in-class writing exercises, share their work, receive feedback, and get the skills they need to polish their plays, focusing on structure, character, dialogue and dramatic tension.

Please submit 12–15 pages (max) of your Fresh Picks submission play for the instructor to review by Tuesday, September 8 to programsfor50plus@torontomu.ca

You are welcome to submit your full script; however, the instructor will read a maximum of 15 pages in advance of the workshop. If you are submitting a full script, please indicate in the email which 12–15 pages you would like the instructor to read.

Reminder: Fresh Picks submission deadline is FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6
