Course Description

This ensemble-based course will focus on one play and culminate in a staged reading performance. Students will be assigned their role before the class begins. Class work will consist of “on your feet” text analysis, and students will be directed in connection to character choices, story, timing, and emotional circumstances. There will be no set and minimal costumes. Texts will be read and not memorized for the performance, which will be scheduled in the afternoon of the last class.
