Course Description

The course covers daylight availability, delivery systems, computations, and application of prediction models. Understanding the techniques of bring quality daylight into interior spaces by looking at a variety of applications and methods that include visual performance, sun path analysis, thermal loads and energy, shading systems. The concept of daylighting design will be introduced, and students will calculate and evaluate the quality of daylight in the built environment.
