Course Description

Accessibility in digital publishing is now standard in the industry. It means publishing for all readers, including readers with disabilities. By considering the accessible reading experience from all angles, this course offers training in inclusive design, assistive technologies, image descriptions, and the evaluation of accessible content. Students will learn how accessibility is being integrated into all aspects of publishing, from editing to production and marketing, and how to be an effective accessibility lead.
