Great Gardens takes us from the ruins of Emperor Hadrian's magnificent Roman Villa to the exquisite gardens created by painter Claude Monet at Giverny outside of Paris. We'll enjoy the garden at Sissinghurst, home and garden of British novelist, poet and lifelong gardener Vita Sackville-West and her husband, diplomat and diarist Harold Nicholson. As well as film-maker Derek Jarman's incredibly different garden at Prospect Cottage near the Dungeness Nuclear Power Station.
