Course Description

This course, taught in ASL, is for intermediate students wishing to learn complex concepts, narrative structures as well as registers. Students will translate written texts into ASL using proper structures and learn extensively about ASL culture. By the end of this course, students should be able to conduct conversations involving several people, express nuanced emotions and feelings and understand the norms of ASL culture. Students with restricted dexterity may find this course challenging.
