Course Description

How are women???s movements historically and in the present relevant to the lives of women and girls today? This course examines the history of feminist movements within the broader frameworks of international feminism, lesbian and women-identified trans identities, Indigenous feminism and anti-racist feminism. Topics of exploration include the beauty myth, violence against women, ageism, disability, reproductive rights, paid and unpaid work, health, education, religion and social media.
