Course Description

This course is an introduction to econometrics. The main topics of the course are the linear regression model, its estimation and inference. Other topics include heteroscedasticity, endogeneity, and instrumental variable estimation.

On-campus exam requirement: Your final exam will be written in person at the Toronto Metropolitan University campus. If you live more than 100 km from the TMU campus, you may arrange to write your exam off campus using an approved off-campus invigilation service. Requisites

Prerequisites: (CECN 230 or CMTH 231 or MTH 240 or CMTH 310) and (CECN 329 or CQMS 442 or CMTH 404 or MTH 410 or CMTH 480)
