Course DescriptionThis course is designed to provide a critical overview of the step-by-step procedures used in managing a GIS project from its inception through its development as a strategic plan to the management of its implementation. Opportunities will be provided for those working in the field to critically examine the project management approaches used within their organizations. Those who are not currently working in the GIS field will be given an opportunity to develop and carry forward a project through every step of the process as if they were acting as outside consultants in a field of their choosing.
This is an independent study course.
