Who should take this Fundamentals of Interior Design certificate?

You’ll learn how to:

Note: Certified interior designers must pass the NCIDQ exam, which is administered by the Council for Interior Design Qualification (CIDQ). Completing this certificate will not enable you to write the NCIDQ exam or represent yourself as a certified interior designer. This certificate is separate from Toronto Metropolitan University's Bachelor of Interior Design (BID) program.

Admission Criteria

Recommended:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
    • With 6 Grade 12 U or M credits (including English and Mathematics)
    • With a minimum average of 60 percent

OR

  • Mature student status
