Course Description

Communications professionals continually need to capture, and effectively  communicate, “Return on Investment” of their work outputs to organizational leaders. This course  provides an opportunity for students to apply techniques of research and evaluation to public  relations issues, learning both qualitative and quantitative strategies for public relations practice.  Working both individually and in small groups, students will conduct a systematic secondary  research report and a primary research report; learn to create and apply online metrics platforms;  and conduct an evaluation of a public relations campaign.
