Course Description

CIUF115 is the first of two courses to help students successfully prepare for the future study of Mathematics or Statistics. This course focuses on improving your basic arithmetic skills, such as working with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages. The course will also cover topics in algebra, such as algebraic representations, operations with polynomials, solving linear equations and inequalities, solving systems of two linear equations in two variables, exponents and radicals, factoring, and graphing linear equations. The course is taught online.
